GEOL 101L (Introductory Geology Lab)

This class acts a lab corresponding to the Introductory Geology Lecture and fulfills the general ed requirement for a science with lab at CSUF. Subjects covered include characterizing rocks and minerals, reading topographic maps, and interpreting geologic history. One self-guided field trip for students is also required.

GEOL 303A (Earth Resources)

This class involves learning about and identifying different groups of minerals and where they form. Several field trips were included in this class including one trip to the Los Angeles Natural History Museum and one across the Mojave National Preserve. I acted as a teaching assistant to Dr. Vali Memeti for this class.

GEOL 303B (Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology)

This class acts to build upon knowledge of minerals from GEOL303A and apply it to magmatic and metamorphic processes. I acted as a teaching assistant to Dr. Diane Clemens-Knott for this class.
